Chicory Café Au Lait with Cinnamon Toast

As Black History Month comes to a close, the last recipe we are sharing is Chicory Café Au Lait. Chicory is a root vegetable predominantly grown in France and South Africa and is a relative of the dandelion family. When blended with coffee beans, the end result is a sensational hot coffee drink! It is typically served “au lait” or split evenly with scolding steaming hot milk and Chicory coffee. This coffee beverage pairs well with just about anything, but we suggest a delicious sugar cinnamon toast!
